The Public Works Authority (Pwa) In The State Of Qatar Invites Global Leaders In Design And Construction Services To Submit Their Prequalification Application Showing Their Expression Of Interest For The Following Project:

New District Of Doha (Ndod) Contract 1 Marine Pump Station And Outfall Cp796/1
South Of Wakrah Contract 1 Pumping Station And Outfall Cp803/1

Brief Description Of The Works
The Primary Aim Of The New District Of Doha (Ndod) And South Of Wakrah (Sow) Strategic Projects Is To Alleviate Current Flooding Issues And To Provide Long Term Future Stormwater Management Infrastructure In Line With 2030 Vision And The Qatar Integrated Drainage Master Plan. Existing And Future Lrdp Projects Will Transfer Storm And Ground Water Flows Onto The Strategic Tunnel Systems Where Flows Will Gravitate To Strategically Located Pumping Stations, Flows Will Then Either Be Pumped To Sea Via A Marine Outfall And Or Stored Within The Inland Storage Lagoon.

Scope Of Work Under This Prequalification For Contracts Cp796/1 And Cp803/1 Include The Design And Construction Of Deep Stormwater Pumping Station Of Approximately 30 35 Cubic-Meter-Per-Second (M3/S) Capacity, Associated Operational And Control Buildings, Large-Diameter Tunneled Sea Outfall Approx. 6.0 To 11.0Km In Length.
