In cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a Qatari Armed Forces aircraft arrived on Wednesday in Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, carrying 45 tonnes of aid, including basic food and medical supplies, provided by Qatar Charity.
The assistance comes within the framework of Qatar’s support for those affected by the floods and landslides in northern Tanzania. The aid was received by Assistant Director of Disaster Research in the Tanzanian Prime Minister’s Office Department of Disaster Management Charles Elikunda Msangi, and members of Qatar Charity’s office in Tanzania.
