Established on November 19, 2007, Qatalum is located in Mesaieed, approximately 40 km south of Doha, where it operates one of the largest and most advanced aluminium smelters in the world. Qatalum’s state-of-the-art facilities include a carbon plant, reduction plant, casthouse, and port, along with a captive power plant. These assets allow the company to produce over 600,000 tons of high-quality primary aluminium annually.
