Qatar International Islamic Bank (QIIB) has received the ‘Excellence in Mobile Banking’ award at Finnovex Qatar 2024, an event that celebrates technology and innovation in banking services.

The event, held recently at the Waldorf Astoria Doha West Bay Hotel, was attended by numerous representatives from financial and banking institutions, along with digital technology specialists.

Talal Al Jaidah, head of banking products at QIIB, accepted the award during a ceremony at Finnovex Qatar 2024, which honoured leading institutions in digital banking services.

Explaining their rationale for awarding QIIB, the summit organisers said, “QIIB demonstrates leadership and a strong commitment to innovation, focusing on advanced mobile banking technology. It has achieved an exceptional leap in its mobile banking services for various customer segments recently.”

Reflecting on this prestigious award, Khaled Abdul Rahman Al Shaibei, head of business development at QIIB, said: “We are delighted to participate in Finnovex Qatar 2024, showcasing our distinguished digital achievements, especially in mobile banking. We sincerely thank the summit organisers for honoring Qatar International Islamic Bank.
