Gulf Chemicals & Industrial Oils Co. (GCIR) began its journey in 1984 as Saudi Industrial Solvents Co. (SISCO). The company initially produced Hydrocarbon Solvents and Special Oils. In 1994, it expanded and launched Gulf Chemicals & Industrial Resins Co. This new division focused on Alkyd Resins, Polyesters, and Emulsions. A major milestone came in 2002 when SISCO merged with its sister company. This merger formed the company now known as Gulf Chemicals & Industrial Oils Co. Today, GCIR continues to grow as a trusted name in the industry.
